All custom vault doors come standard with 3/8" thick plate or thicker depending on the package you pick.
Weights vary based on size and options.
If the rough opening measures over 80" in height we enlarge the frame, not the door. During transit these vault doors lay down. Most freight trucks have a hard time unloading objects over 89" wide with their lift gates, so having equipment to take the custom size vault doors off the trucks maybe necessary.
